Carl Chipello Jr.
Carl J. Chipello, Jr. On March 24, 2017, Heaven's band of angels gained a new drummer. Carl J. Chipello, Jr. passed away peacefully at Regal Care in West Haven on his 62nd birthday, with his sister by his side. Born in Milford on March 24, 1955 to the late Carl and Stella Chipello, Carl lived most of his life in Milford, Stratford and West Haven. Having attended Milford schools, Carl had worked with his Dad as a mason as well as a bartender at several cafes in Milford. He received his first drum set when he was ten years old and went on to become an extremely talented musician. He was the former drummer of Commercial Interruption and Jack of Roses. Left to cherish his memory is his sister Cindy Schreck (Bill) of West Haven and his sons David Giardino of Milford and Josh Giardino of Hamden. Also survived by two nieces, Jessica Miccio (Audra) of Woodbridge and Deana Supan (Matthew) of West Haven, as well as aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends. His warm personality, great sense of humor and infectious smile will be missed by all. A special thanks to the staff of the West Wing at Regal Care and Seasons Hospice for their care of Carl. A Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Church, 207 Main Street, West Haven, on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. I will always love you my baby brother. I hope you're jamming with Zappa and all the great musicians in heaven. Fly and be free.
