Camron Ann Gardner Wilkins, 53, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home in Greensboro, NC. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Center. Camron was born in Jacksonville, FL to Dr. W. Ronald and Camille Gardner. She graduated from Hickory High School and attended Oxford-College of Emory University. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology. She worked in the financial services industry, most recently as a Project Manager at Lincoln Financial Group in Greensboro. Camron loved traveling, especially to the beach and mountains with both sides her loving family. She was an avid photographer and loved taking pictures of nature. Camron was a member of PEO Chapter CA in Greensboro. Camron was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, family member, and friend. There are no words to express our loss. She will be missed. Surviving are her husband, Charles (Chuck) J Wilkins, Jr. of the home and son Charles (Charlie) Gardner Wilkins of Hickory, NC; parents, Dr. W. Ronald and Camille Gardner, of Hickory, NC; siblings, Lynn G. Curfman (Dean) of Morganton, NC, William R. Gardner, Jr.(Jennifer) and Kristin Dettelbach (Bobby), both of Hickory, NC; parents-in-law, Charles J. (Jeter) and Ann Wilkins of Greensboro, NC, sisters-in-law, Carol W. Sineath (Tom) of Burlington, NC, and Sandy W. Valinis (Michael) of Worthington, OH; nieces, Elizabeth C. Martin (John), Lane Marie Dettelbach, Charlotte Crone (Tim), Lindsey Rowe (Parker), and Rachel Walter (Stephen); nephews, William Creech, Patrick Creech, Tate Dettelbach, Stewart Sineath, and Blake Cummings (Becky); several very special great-nephews and great-nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Youth Designated Fund at Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410.
