BRIAN LEE SKEENS, 39, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord and his granny on Friday, April 14, 2017, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Jody Fortner. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Brian was born on January 25, 1978, in Huntington W.Va., the son of Jerry Skeens and Karen Adkins Skeens. Brian was a tow operator for River Cities Towing. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mildred Adkins and paternal grandparents Monroe and Shirley Skeens. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Breanna Leigh Hogsett (Cody); two grandsons, Tayten Lee Hogsett and Jakoby Malone; step-mother, Susan Skeens; two brothers, Jason Lee Skeens (Tiffany) and Nathan Ray Skeens; one sister, Rylee Kaden Skeens; his maternal grandfather Robert G. Adkins; father-in-law Chuck (Beverly) Marshall, and father-in-law Tom (Andre) Martin; sisters-in-law, Krissye (Mitch) Kerns, Shannon Rubin, Heather Pressler and brother-in-law Mathew Marshall. In addition, the following nieces and nephews survive, Jacob Lee Skeens, Cassie Hunt, Alec, Seth, Jarred, Zach, Jaden, Ethan, Landon, Ryelee, Kymber, Autumn, Kylea; and the love of his life, Mary Skeens.
