Bivian Bee 'Ms. Punkin' (Loney) Hancock Henderson, Ky, Bivian Bee "Ms. Punkin" (Loney) Hancock, 80, of Henderson, passed away Thursday January 12, 2017, at Methodist Hospital. She was born in Henderson on September 14, 1936, to Chester and Lena Mae (Williams) Loney. Bivian graduated from Holy Name School. She retired from the Henderson County School system as a bus driver after 51 years and loved taking care of her kids on the bus. Bivian enjoyed going to the racetrack to watch the horses that her family trained. She also enjoyed watching U.K. and U of L basketball games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delvin O. Hancock Sr., in 2004; and one brother, Rex Loney. Survivors include three sons, Delvin O. Hancock Jr. and wife, Libby, John A. Hancock and wife, Donna Gail and Jack L. Hancock Sr. and wife, Joan, all of Henderson; one brother, Phillip Don Loney, of Henderson; two sisters, Beatrice Stanley and Ann Marie Buckman, both of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Dana Hancock, Ashley Hillyard, Jack L. Hancock Jr., Natalie Broadhurst, Jake Broadhurst, Scottie Goben and Brandy Garrett; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be at noon Monday January 16, 2017, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pallbearers will be Jack Hancock Sr., Jack Hancock, Jr., Jake Broadhurst, Shaun Michael Stone, Mark Loney and Josh Hillyard. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Hillyard, Dana Hancock Jr. Stanley and Alex Martinez. Expressions of sympathy make take the form of contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
