BLAIR, Birdie M. 53 of Urbana, born July 3, 1963 in Springfield, OH, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was surrounded by her family. Birdie had previously been employed at Eby-Brown. She enjoyed scrap-booking, playing games, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was the youngest daughter of the late John and Mary Lou Bettler. In addition to her parents, Birdie was preceded in death by her late husband, Jeffrey D. Dalzell. She is survived by her husband, Dick Blair; two sons, Justin A. Dalzell (Cassandra) of Urbana and Jason S. (Heather) Dalzell of Enon; daughter, Jackie L. Dalzell (fianc? William Schmidt) of Raeford, NC; step-daughter, Kaleigh (Cameron) Young; step-son, Tyler Blair (Marissa); eight grandchildren, MyKayla D. Blue, William C. Blue, Ava S. Dalzell, Madden M.D. Dalzell, Wyatt S. Blair, Carter S. Young, Austin G. Schmidt, and Jeremiah J. Schmidt; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Mauer of Springfield, Beverly (Robert) White, and Betty Bettler; brother, John Bettler; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating.
