Beverly Ann Falkenberg April 09, 1934 - October 08, 2016 Visalia Beverly Falkenberg, beloved wife (Spousie), sister, mother, and grandmother was called to Heaven on October 8, 2016 after courageously battling cancer. Beverly was deeply independent, caring, artistic, spiritual, compassionate and loving. She so loved her husband, family, and friends. Beverly was born to Arnold and Dorothy Lemke on April 9, 1934. She was raised in Michigan with her loving brother Arnold. Bev married her husband Edwin O. Falkenberg on September 12, 1953 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. It was always with laughter that we talked about her honeymoon which was a fishing trip to Idaho. This was just one of many trips as she loved to travel around the world with her husband Ed. Bev and Ed raised two daughters, Marsha and Carol, while living in Michigan, New York, and Visalia, CA. Beverly's passing is preceded by her dear daughter Marsha in 1998. She leaves her loving husband and most "precious" love of 63 years. She is survived by her brother Arnold and wife Pat of Michigan; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jim Sebesta, and son-in-law Tony Saucedo all of Visalia. She lived to see and help raise four beautiful and talented grandchildren, Megan (husband: Greg) Lindsay, Miles, and Raymond. Bev was excited as she learned in September that she was to have her first great-grandchild with the announcement of Megan and Greg's baby coming in March 2017. The family's fondest memories are of the many camping trips they did together. Upon retiring from the Visalia Police Department, Spousie and Ed traveled the world. Beverly made magic as she put paint to canvas to create beautiful paintings of the photos that Ed took of their travels. Bev loved to stay busy and volunteer her services. She will be missed by many including her gambling, traveling, Red Hat Society, Women's Trade Club, church group, and her new friends of Sierra Village. The family invites all who knew and loved Beverly to attend her graveside ceremony on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Visalia District Cemetery followed by a tribute at 11AM to her life, at Christ Lutheran Church, 3830 West Tulare Avenue, Visalia CA.
