Beverly is survived by her daughters, Denise (Rick) Royce and Maureen Durbeck, her daughter-in-law, Karen Durbeck, three grandchildren, Brandon (Meg) Durbeck, Brittany Durbeck, and Hailea Royce, and two great grandchildren, Madison and Wyatt Durbeck. Beverly grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY, but, shortly after marriage, moved south to Lexington, KY following her husband's job transfer. Beverly loved to golf and bowl. She was a long time member of a weekday ladies bowling league and also spent many a Friday evening bowling with her husband in a couples' league. She volunteered for many years with the UK Hospital Auxiliary, including time selecting inventory for the hospital gift shop and sewing puppets for pediatric patients. Beverly had a variety of other interests, including acting (reader's theater), crossword puzzles, cross stitch, antiquing furniture, piano, investing, singing at the piano bar, and pulling the weeds in her yard. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, assisting her family whenever the need arose. An animal lover, she cared for many cats and dogs over the years, including several surprise strays rescued by her son. She was a member of Christ the King Church. A funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Church in Lexington, KY on Sat, Oct 15th, at 1:30pm. Visitation will be 4-7:30pm on Fri, Oct 14th at the Milward Southland location.
