Beulah G. "Corky" Reynolds
July 3, 1923 - April 14, 2017 Beulah G. "Corky" Reynolds, of Vacaville, passed away on April 14, following a short illness. Beulah was born July 3, 1923 in Blackburn, AR, to G.W. and Eva Redfern. On Dec. 28, 1940, Beulah married John A. Reynolds. They lived the first years of their marriage in Arkansas, but before the birth of their third child, the family relocated to California. Beulah and her husband raised their children in Vallejo. She made her career as a hairdresser and owned her own salon in Napa. The couple retired to Rancho Tahema, where they lived in peaceful surroundings in the country and were able to travel the world with family and friends. In the late 1990s, Beulah and her husband moved to Vacaville, to be closer to family. She loved bowling and bingo. She was an outgoing and independent woman. You could often find her volunteering at the Northbay Hospital Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Reynolds; son, Douglas W. Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Shirley A. Reynolds and son-in-law, Dewey T. Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dwight Newsom) Jones; son, Larry (Cecile) Reynolds; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and many loving family and friends. Memorial services are Wednesday, April 26 at 2 p.m., at Orchard Baptist Church, 301 N. Orchard Ave., Vacaville. Reception immediately following.
