Betty Louise White
Betty Louise White Shingletown, CA 1932 - 2017 Betty was born on a hot July day in 1932 in Decatur, Texas to Billie and Mildred Morris. She was the oldest of four girls. She leaves behind the love of her life, Clinton "Scotty" White. They shared a beautiful 64 year marriage. They have three children, Deborah (Walter) Webb, Gary (Brenda Harris), and John (Brenda) White. She loved and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters Margaret (David) Fuqua, and Berta Dooley whom have always held a special place in her heart. Betty was proceeded in death by sister GloryAnn Bobo. Betty quietly wore the title of the "sweetest lady" by always putting others needs before herself. Whipping up a great meal or baking your favorite pie, she was always comfortable in the kitchen. She is known for her dinner rolls and pies at local potlucks. Betty was a founding member of the Shingletown Historical Society and remained a contributing member. Graveside services will be held at Ogburn-Inwood Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 22nd, followed by a Celebration of Life potluck at Black Butte School.
