Mrs. Betty Mae Lott Memorial services celebrating the life of Betty Mae Lott will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Pineville Park Baptist Church with Reverends Jeremy Sheppard and John Harris officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville. Visitation will be observed at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Betty Mae Lott, 65, of Pineville, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at her residence. Born in Chicago and moving to San Diego at the age of four, she graduated from James Madison High School in 1969. She met her husband on a blind date and they married 2 years later. They then moved to Texas and then Louisiana in 1986. Betty was a faithful member of Pineville Park Baptist Church where she was active with the children's choir, Sunday school, missions, Hand Bells and sang in the church choir. During her working career, she worked for Quick Print, Louisiana Baptist Convention, Lamar White Realty and retiring from Red River Bank. Having fought cancer for over forty years, she was an inspiration to many. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold H. and Willie Mae Pugh Hill. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lott; daughter, Amye Wilson and husband, Reid; grandchildren, Adelynn Grace Wilson and Tristan Thomas Wilson; brother, Robert Hill and wife, Diana and a host of other family members and friends. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Hematology Oncology Life Center (HOLC) for their compassion and loving care for Betty.
