Betty Dour Betty Dour, 85, of Staunton, Ill., born Jan. 26, 1931 in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 at her residence. Betty was the owner and operator of the R Corner in Staunton for many years. She was previously the owner and Operator of the Red Feather in Washington Park, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sadie, nee Horner, Harrigan; her husband, Edward L. Dour, whom she married on May 15, 1948 at St. Martin of Tour in Washington Park, who passed away March 29, 2013; two brothers, Joseph and William Hannigan; and three sisters, Delores Selliers, Margaret Kirby and Patricia Hannigan. Surviving are her two daughters, Diane (Matthew) Hartman of Ottawa, Ill., and Lisa (David) Leonard of Collinsville, Ill., three grandchildren, Nicole (Christopher) Lang, of Okinawa, Japan, and Matthew and Jason Hartman; two great-grandchildren. Betty would like to thank Dr. Mathur and Dr. Jain for being so kind, as well as she would like to send thanks to Jack, Mary Beth & Jackie.
