Benjamin Willis "B.W." Livingston July 29, 1929- October 13, 2016 COLUMBUS, GA- Benjamin Willis "B.W." Livingston, 87, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, October 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2016 in Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. Reverend Vernon Prather will officiate. The family will receive friends this afternoon from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Livingston was born July 29, 1929 in Carbon Hill, AL, son of the late Lewis Mayfield and Roxie Ann Aldridge Livingston. He served our country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Livingston was in the seafood business, was formerly co-owner of the Columbus Fish Market and was with Rose Hill Seafood for many years. Mr. Livingston was also a dedicated member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Golden Livingston; his daughter, Deborah Tindall (Edwin); his son, Ronald Kent Livingston; three grandchildren, Ben Tindall, Tim Tindall (Sarah), and Holly Tindall; four great grandchildren, Sarabeth Tindall, Noah Tindall, Hannah Edwards and Andrew Tindall; three brothers and three sisters; numerous other family members and friends.
