Barbara Wesneski Bentov, 75, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Feb. 7 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, Md. She is survived by her husband, David Bentov. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Carl and Agnes Miskowski Wesneski, she was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of Marywood Seminary and in 1962 earned her RN degree from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia. She received her BSN in 1986 from Barry University, Miami Shores, Fla. She was employed by Mount Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, Fla., and North Miami General Hospital as head of the one-day surgery department. She ended her career as the health director at American Academy of Dance of Purchase College, New York. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed traveling but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Also surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Bentov, Annapolis, Md.; grandchildren, Sarah, David, Emma and Kathryn Bentov-Lagman; brothers, Carl Wesneski and wife, Elizabeth, Crofton, Md.; Anthony Wesneski and wife, Olga, Newburg, N.Y.; and Paul Wesneski and wife, Karen, Dickson City; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wesneski. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City.
