BRIDGES (Ward), Audie Mae Born January 1, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN to John T. Ward and Rena Medden, transitioned from this life October 9, 2016. She was an active member of United Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, James E. Bridges, Sr.; children, Sandra, Denise, Jeraline, Terrell, Deborah; special brother-in-law, Clifford "CC" Bridges; granddaughter, Sherita Bridges. She leaves in her cherished memory children, James E. Bridges Jr., Emma Varner, Robert Bridges (Annette), Cheryl (Harvey) Bush, all of Dayton; sons-in-law, Eddie M. Wright, Eddie J. Williams; 19 grandchildren; brothers-and sisters-in-law of Newnan, GA, a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral service 11 am Saturday, October 15, 2016 at United M. B. Church, 900 Lexington Ave. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. We would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their care.
