Attilio "Ott" Molinari Attilio "Ott" Molinari, a long time resident of San Bruno and Millbrae, passed away on January 12, 2017, just days before his 96th birthday, after a three year struggle with dementia. Ott, born in Italy, was brought to San Bruno by his parents as an infant, and attended Northbrae School and San Mateo High with other "Boys of San Bruno". He served in WWII aboard a US Navy carrier in the South Pacific, returned from war to marry Florence "Florrie" Carlsen, and began working for Healy Tibbets Construction Company. In 1977, Ott and Florrie moved to Nevada City, California where both enjoyed retirement for almost 37 years. In 2014 Ott and Florrie moved to Florida to be near their son, Michael. Ott thrived in his retirement by duck hunting, fishing, golfing, gambling in Reno and by fixing and inventing all things mechanical. Ott, a loving husband and father and friend to many is survived by Florrie, his wife of 69 years, his son, Michael, both of Melbourne, Florida; his brother, Andy, of Millbrae, and nephew, David Molinari of Laguna Hills, California. Ott Molinari will be missed. Keep a good thought in your heart for him.
