Arvid Andersen, 92, passed away at the Aurora Medical Center, in Kenosha, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. He was born in Bilet, Norway on October 14, 1924 the son of the late Karsten and Ragna (nee: Hendricksen) Andersen. In 1948, in Norway, he was united in marriage to the former Helene Nergard. They were married for over 62 until she passed away on July 23, 2011. The Andersens came to the United States in 1956. He was a self-employed musician and part owner of the 8 O'clock Tap. Surviving are his son, Kai; two adored grandsons, Kai-Erik and J.J. Andersen. Many other special relatives and friends survive him. Private interment will take place in Arvid's beloved home country of Norway.
