Reverend Arthur Riggins Reverend Arthur Riggins, 91, of Havana, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Reverend Riggins was a native of Damascus, Georgia and later moved to Havana, Florida where he met the love of his natural life, Geneva Chambers and raised their children. He retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad (currently CSX) after 34 years of dedicated service. He was the Founder and Pastor of the Revival Center Church of Outreach Ministries, Inc., in Havana, Florida. Reverend Riggins was known throughout the Big Bend for his preaching, shouting and laying on of hands for people to be saved, healed, delivered and set free. He loved gospel music and would frequent gospel programs and concerts around the Big Bend area. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years: Geneva Chambers Riggins, Son-in-law: Charles Crisp, Grandson: Kristoffer Jamel Chandler and a host of other relatives. Remembering his labor of love and dedication to his family are his children: Annie, Geraldine, Helen, Cornell (Audrey), Dale (Sandra), Kenneth (Cynthia), Gwendolyn, Chappella, Vann (Shulamith), John Henry, JoAnn, Lester (Aneta) and Ronnie Riggins. Sister: Essie Riggins. Brothers: Willie and James (Barbara Ann) Riggins. Sister-in-law: Ella Chambers. His Celebration of Life is Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. from the sanctuary of Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth, 1110 Rich Bay Road, Havana, Florida 32333. Viewing is 9:00-9:45 a.m. Committal Service will immediately follow at St. John Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 825 Bill McGill Road, Midway, Florida, 32343.
