Toering, Arnold Arnold Toering, aged 83, went to his heavenly home and into the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Stanton. He is survived by his wife, Doris, children, Julie, and Peter (Michelle) Toering, his grandchildren, Matthew, Emily and Daniel (Andrea) Hart, Andrew Stanton, Grant, Sam, Leah, and Jack Toering; his brothers and sisters, Henry and Joyce, Karleen Smits, Alma and Charles Warren, Wilma Ilbrink, Norma and John Van Wyk, Marilyn and Duane Trumpie, Nancy Toering, Steve and Corey, Myron and Marla, Sharon Dykhuizen, Marvin and Linda, and Craig Toering, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bert and Al Hofstra, Jean Schutte, Gene Geib, Don and Fran Van Polen, Laurabelle and Dirk Baartman, Ken and Sharon Van Polen. Arnold proudly served in the US Army and was a residential and commercial builder. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22, at 11:00 am at Redeemer Presbyterian Church (8605 E. Fulton St) with Rev. Jim Mong officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 am prior to the service at church.
