BEILAGE, Arlene 92, passed away peacefully February 5, 2017, following a long illness. She was a long-time resident of Clearwater, FL. Arlene Renee Tschida was born August 1, 1924 in Bismark ND. She graduated from Glen Ullin High School, ND in 1941, where she was a cheerleader, thespian, member of the chorus, on the newspaper staff and preformed as a tap dancer. In 1944, Arlene wed her high school sweetheart, Frank Beilage. She was married to her loving and devoted husband for 72 years. They enjoyed visiting family and traveling the US and Canada in their motor home, exploring Florida waterways in their boat and socializing with friends. She will be greatly missed by her children, Lauren Birk, Michelle Hains and Gaye Gift (Dr. James Gift), her grandchildren, Michael Burch (Valerie Burch), Jennifer Sabatier (John Sabatier), Erin Whitaker (Jeff Whitaker), Bryan Hains (Avis Hains), Aaron Conover and Christy Jahnke (Dan Jahnke), and great-grandchildren, Ferris Sabatier, Cameron Sabatier, Heather Burch, Briahna Burch, Cloe Whitaker, Luke Whitaker, Adam Hamilton, Kalina Hamilton and Miyah Hamilton. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Michael Tschida, and her sisters, Jeanne Woeste, Edith Rodvold and Sonya Magstadt. She was an accomplished seamstress, artist, musician, hostess and cook. Nicknamed "Betty Crocker," her family frequently requested cooking advice. Her specialty was banana cream pie. A funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
