In memory of
Anthony Entile, 89, of Aurora, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born February 17, 1927 in Aurora, Illinois. Anthony served in the United States Army where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant during World War II. In his career he served as an elementary school teacher, in private business in the real estate industry, and in banking with Home Savings & Loan Association (now PNC Bank). Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in management and a Master of Science in business from the University of Illinois - Champaign. He was a loving husband and father, and enjoyed gardening, sports and spending time with family. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Anna, whom he met and married in Sicily; his sons, Anthony and Samuel; and his sister, Josephine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lena Entile; and two brothers, Michael and Patrick Entile. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 10:00 AM to Holy Angels Church at 10:30 AM. Fr. James Canova will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with a Liturgical Wake Service at 6:00 PM, at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. (630) 631-5500.
