Annette (Dumas) Ferbert, passed away, Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from congestive heart failure, at the age of 93. She was wife of the late Russel E. Ferbert, whom she was married to for 56 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ludia (Bernard) Dumas. She worked as a seamstress at Cooperative Shoe Factory in Bridgewater, and the Middleboro shoe factories. Annette loved her cook-outs, making kale soup, crossword puzzles and crocheting. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Wager and her husband Charlie of Middleoro, Noreen Whiting and her husband Tom of N.H.; a brother, Philip Leo Dumas of Halifax; and her dear sister-in-law, Pauline Dumas, whom she considered her sister; grandchildren, Kenny and Julia Ferbert, Christine and Cheryl Wager, Coreen Perone, Cathleen OBrien; and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, October 15. from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, with a prayer service to be held at noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Middleboro.
