SCARPELLI, Anne Shirley (Biggles) On April 6, 2017, Anne Shirley Scarpelli (Biggles) entered into Heaven. Anne had fought a brave battle with cancer and had been in remission for over six years; but at the age of 72 this warrior's heart just gave out. Anne was born on June 15, 1944, the day that her father was in the battle of the Marianas, for which he later received the Bronze Star. Her parents Orrie and Jacqueline Biggles welcomed her with open arms as did her "older sister" Kathleen. Anne was born in San Francisco and was raised in San Bruno. She graduated from Cappuccino High School in 1962 where she had the honor of being chosen Home Coming Queen. Anne met and married her husband of 20 years, Gary Malone, while attending Cosmetology School. They moved to Marin County where she worked as a hairdresser and raised their two daughters, Tracy and Heidi. She leaves behind her two daughters Tracy Western and Heidi Malone, her three grandchildren Emma Western, Bradley Weiss, and Chloe Weiss, her sister Kathleen Chiappari, brother-in-law Michael Chiappari, lots of nieces and nephews, and her beloved husband Dante Scarpelli. A Celebration of Life will be held at Deerpark Villa, 367 Bolinas Rd, Fairfax CA at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
