OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. - Anna Mae Neace was born November 19, 1937, to Thomas and Ethel Jackson in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She left this life on October 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family relocated to Abilene, TX, where she attended and graduated from Abilene High School. In 1974 she settled in Monahans, TX, where she met her husband, RE "Rudy" Neace, and they married in 1984. Anna was a part of the Monahans business community as owner of a downtown shoe store for several years. She then became an important part of the Ward County Tax office team, where she later retired. She was also a member of the Sands Art Club. She enjoyed painting and working with clay until arthritis made it too difficult. She sold her works of art at various craft shows in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, as well as gave as gifts to many lucky friends and family. Spending time with family and friends brought her great joy as well as playing games and helping the casinos pay their bills. Anna was a member of First United Methodist Church in Monahans. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudy, her son Robin and two brothers Charles and Kenneth. She is survived by five children, daughters Karla McAnally Cooper of Edmond, OK, Peggy Walker and Roy of Lowell, AR, Susan McKay and John of St. Cloud, FL, and Cathy Ellison of Monahans, TX, and son Tommy Neace and Julie of Monahans, TX; sister Lorene Senft of Edmond, OK, and brothers Ernest Jackson and wife Betty of Crowley, TX, and John Jackson and wife Lena of Forney, TX; and nine Grandchildren, Kylie Cooper, Jennifer Briggs, Katy Rowoldt, Kerry Avery, Jody McKay, JD McKay, Ashley Arroyo, Emily Neace and Robert Ellison. She was also blessed with 14 Great Grandchildren. She will be truly missed by family and friends. Anna Banana, you will live forever in our hearts.
