Anna Evelyn (Eby) Keller
Anna Evelyn (Eby) Keller Dallas Center Anna Eveyln (Eby) Keller, 93, went to be with her Lord on February 14, 2017. She was born August 21, 1923, near Shippensburg, PA, the second child of Christian Henry and Fannie Eby. When Anna was seven years old, the family moved to Iowa. At the age of 15 she committed her life to Christ and was baptized into the Old Order River Brethren Church. Anna married Henry Keller on August 26, 1943. They were blessed with three children: Steven, Norma Jean, and David. Henry died as a result of a car accident on March 23, 1948, leaving Anna a widow with small children, ages three, two, and one. Anna married Paul Keller (brother of Henry) on November 26, 1957, and became mother to Paul's son, Arthur, age 16. Paul and Anna were also blessed with three children: Daniel, Carolyn, and Robert. After 39 years of marriage, Paul passed from this life on July 30, 1997. Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and sewing baby comforters. Serving her church and her family was her life's purpose. Anna is survived by her children: Steven and Barbara Keller, Adel; Norma Jean and Stephen Moseley, Hudson, IA; David and Dianne Keller, Dallas Center; Daniel and Eva Keller, Dallas Center; Carolyn and Lamar Weaver, Lancaster, PA; Robert and Dena Keller, Dallas Center; and daughter-in-law Rita and Jim Windust, Adel. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings are: Jacob Eby, Harold Eby, and Mary Meyers. She was preceded in death by husbands Henry and Paul; brothers John and Henry Jr.; sisters Ruth Meyers, Dorothy Hawbaker, and Ada Meyers; step-son Arthur; grandchildren Matthew Moseley and Darla Castle. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017, at the Dunkard Brethren Church, near Dallas Center. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 18, at the Dunkard Brethren Church, with burial to follow at the Brethren Cemetery. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.Com .
