Armstrong, Anna Violet 12/31/1919 - 10/9/2016 Muskegon Mrs. Anna Violet Armstrong, age 96, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 31, 1919 to John & Elsie (Staple) Kops and married Franklin Armstrong on October 27, 1944 lived in the area her whole life. Mrs. Armstrong had been employed as a laborer for Continental Motors and American Coil Springs for years until retiring in 1950. Anna was a long time member of Fifth Reformed Church, the Women's Guild and was on the Refreshment & Kitchen committee. She was an active member of the Hannah Circle where she served as Treasurer for several years and volunteered at International Aid. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Son, Wayne Armstrong; brother, Ralph Kops; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kops; loving nieces Janice VanDreumel, Marlys (Dan) Whitham; many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; parents; sister, Florence; brothers, Harold, John & Donald. SERVICE Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 11:00 am at Fifth Reformed Church with Rev. Paul Burmeister officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Tuesday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home-Muskegon and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
