Ann Gulling Simmons 1933 - 2017 On February 8,2017, Ann Gulling Simmons sailed westward for the last time. Born in the Rose Capital of the world, Tyler, Texas, she had been living in Florida for nearly forty years enjoying boating, traveling, painting, interior design, gardening, any new episode of CSI or NCIS--but mostly entertaining good friends at her numerous parties and gatherings. A world traveler, she was drawn to any cruise or trip that might take her to a new destination or new adventure. She was preceded in death by first husband LTCOL Louis A. Gulling, USMC, and daughter Jacquelyn Parsons. She is survived by seven wonderful children, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her devoted husband Homer (Pete) Simmons. Visitation begins at 9:30am at United Methodist Church of Gulfbreeze, FL, with the service to follow. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Fair winds and following seas.
