Ann M. Omolecki
Ann M. Omolecki, 81, of West Union Street, Nanticoke, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Nanticoke on Nov. 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Lucy Volanino Albanese. Ann was a graduate of Nanticoke High School, Class of 1952, and had been employed by MacGregor's Sportswear and in the property and supply department of the Luzerne County Courthouse. She was a member of St. Faustina Parish, (formerly Holy Trinity Church), Nanticoke, Nanticoke Lioness Club, 50 year member of Nanticoke Post 350 Ladies Auxiliary, Wyoming Valley Labor Council, AFSCME and served as a Democratic Committeewoman. Ann also served on the membership committee of American Legion Post 350 Nanticoke. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Sr.; brother, Rocco; infant daughter, Sharon. Surviving are daughters, Linda Bohan and husband, Michael; Eileen Raineri and husband, Bob; Laurie Jezewski and husband, Dave; son, Leonard, all of Nanticoke; grandchildren, Melinda Bohan, Kristen Krushinski and husband, Ron; Michael Bohan, Gina Hudson and husband, Kevin; Bob Raineri and wife, Renee; Nicole Jezewski and Jeffrey Jezewski; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Connor, Calleigh, Garrett, Cole and Benjamin; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hrivnak, Regina Oseski; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish Church, Hanover Street, Nanticoke. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newport Township. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
