Ann Emma Oliver 12/12/1921 - 10/2/2016 Ann Emma Stemile was born in Alameda, Calif. on December 12, 1921. Ann and her husband, Ken were married on February 21, 1942. They were married for over 74 years. She and Ken lived in Oakland, Calif., until they retired and moved to Cool, Calif., in 1982. She managed the school cafeteria at McChesney Jr. High School in Oakland for 25 years before retiring. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth H. Oliver and three sons: Dennis J. Oliver, John H. Oliver of Clearlake, Calif., and William K. Oliver of Auburn, Calif. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Jennifer Oliver of Sacramento, Calif., and Kristen Oliver of Phoenix, Ariz. Ann is preceded in death by her grandson, Kenny Oliver (2013). She enjoyed painting in oil color and watercolors, and enjoyed her vegetable garden that she planted for many years. She loved to go to dinner on Friday nights with the many friends that she and her husband met over the years in the Cool, Calif., area. Ann and her beloved husband went on many trips together including a train ride across Canada and several cruises. She and her son William would take her Dad, Henry to Fort Bragg to visit his brother, Willie. They would ride the skunk train every summer for many years there. She would always take her son William and her father on train rides because she knew how much they enjoyed them. She was a great mother and a wonderful wife.
