GRAVES, Ann Terry Ann Terry Graves, 84, went to be with her heavenly father on January 11, 2017 at Brookridge Retirement Homes, Winston Salem, NC. Ann was born September 4, 1932 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of James Rufus Terry and Julia Jenkins Terry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Cook, and her sister, Jane Terry Ramage. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Russell Avery Graves; three sons, John Cook (Mary Ellen), William Cook (Maura) and Jerry Cook (Laurie); two step-daughters, Sherri Graves (Pete Cafferata) and Pamela Wessel (Dave); one step-son, David Graves (Cathy). Ann is also survived by nine grandchildren, Julia Page (Don), Anna Laura Cook, Whitney Cook, Mitchell and Amelia Graves, Christina and Maria Cafferata, Lydia and Catherine Wessel as well as one great -grandchild, Whit Page. Ann has one surviving brother, James Terry (Linda). Ann graduated from Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia and attended Bessie Tift College, Georgia State College and received a Business degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She had a successful business career, retiring as Manager-General Accounting for Pepperidge Farms, Inc. The family expresses appreciation to the kind and caring staff of Brookridge Retirement Homes in Winston Salem, NC for the loving and compassionate care they gave Ann during her nearly 10 years she lived there. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Retirement Homes of NC Benevolent Fund, 1199 Hayes Forest Drive, Winston Salem, NC 27106. A visitation reception will be held prior to the service at 9:45 am on January 14, 2017 at Bill Head Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 6101 Lawrenceville Hwy., Tucker, GA 30084. The service will be held at 10:30 am at the same location. Burial service will be for family at the Sharon Community Cemetery in Forsyth County, Georgia.
