Andrew P. Bonderski Andrew P. Bonderski, age 27, late of Plainfield, IL, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Survived by his loving parents, Bernard and Kathleen (nee Ritchie) Bonderski, one brother, Kevin Bonderski; one sister, Christine (Charlie) Holloway; his maternal grandmother, Rita Ritchie; two nieces, Charlotte and Bristol Holloway and his cherished cat, Shadow; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Rita Bonderski; maternal grandfather, Robert E. Ritchie; his aunt, Karen Ritchie; his uncle Emil Millas and his precious cousin Mark Bonderski. Andrew was a graduate of Joliet West High School and obtained an Associate Degree from Joliet Junior College. Andrew was employed as a correctional officer with Stateville Correctional Center. He was a trusted friend to many and he enjoyed a good game of darts, video gaming and anything electronic. He loved Star Wars and computers, but one of his greatest passions was his love of animals. His family will forever miss his "sarcastic" sense of humor that he brought into their lives. Visitation will be held at the Carlson- Holmquist- Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Will County Humane Society 24109 Seil Road, Shorewood, Il 60404 would be greatly appreciated.
