Celebration of Life for Mrs. Andrea Polk-Byers, 63, Gadsden, will be at noon on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Rainbow City Church of Christ with Brother Anthony Norwood officiating. Burial will follow in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. She leaves to cherish her precious memories a devoted husband, Perry Byers Sr.; three children, Mackeshia (Craig) Jenkins of Kileen, Texas, Perry (Danielle) Byers Jr. and Shamar (April) Byers, both of Gadsden; grandchildren, Osheana Jenkins, Nia Jenkins, Arreon Byers, Shandaysha Byers, Keona Dougan, Shakia Byers, Perry Byers III and Quentin Jenkins; great-grandchild, Kendria Moore; siblings, Jean Johnson, Shirley Beasley and Phyllis Polk. Deborah (Morris) Jordan, Norval Stoves, Merlyn( Marvin) Montgomery; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wallace (Ann) Byers, Mrs. Claudette Polk, Juanita Polk, Carolyn Polk, Ella (Jerry) Mostella, Norman (Deborah) Montgomery, Elizabeth Bothwell and Jarid Russell; aunts and uncles, Willie Gillispie, Mary Kyle, Bertha Mae Wells, Joe (Imogene) Montgomery Jr., Nathaniel Montgomery and Depriest (Clara) Byers. She leaves a host of godchildren, godsisters, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
