Hendersonville, NC- Allen Willard Sinclair, born February 4th, 1931 in Irvington, New Jersey, passed on April 15, 2017 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Allen spent 57 years of his long life married to the love of his life, Lorraine Sinclair. Both natives of New Jersey, Allen and Lorraine moved to NC in 1985, where Allen built their lifelong home atop Pinnacle Mountain. Allen was a loving son to his mother, Evelyn Sinclair, building her final home a stone's throw away from his own. Allen loved his life and the work he committed himself to during his time here. Allen was a successful business owner, owning and operating for several businesses during his years in New Jersey. The love in his work lead to a love in his hobbies as well; his hands his most valuable tools in his lifetime. Allen was a flying enthusiast, obtaining his pilot's license, a lover of racecars, shooting, and photography. He was a man who could fix anything, and would do so with a true love in his heart. Known as a Jack-of-all-trades by his loved ones, Allen Sinclair had hands built sturdy and tough by years of work, yet grew soft and gentle to the touch of those he loved. Allen is survived by his loving wife Lorraine Sinclair, son Wayne Sinclair and daughter Janine Sinclair Brabrand, their spouses Kathy Sinclair and William Brabrand, his granddaughters, Karina and Evelyn Sinclair, and his grandsons, Ryan and Evan Brabrand.
