Allen G. Bradford
Allen G. Bradford, of Middleboro, age 93, died peacefully on April 12th at B.I.D. Hospital in Plymouth. Born on May 25, 1923. He was a retiree from General Electric and Black & Decker where he held several marketing and sales positions. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served with a Mortar Battalion attached to the First Cavalry Division in WWII. He was discharged as a Staff Sergeant with four battle stars and two beachhead medals while in the South Pacific. Allen is pre deceased in death by his wife Corinne, his brother Lewis, Edward and William, and his parents Lewis and Hazel. He is survived by his sister Anne P. Curney of Scituate, and several nieces and nephews. He enjoyed various activities notably bowling, poker, pool, crossword puzzles, cooking and watching sports especially the Red Sox and PGA Golf. He was a well-respected water color artist who gave his art to friends and charities which gave him as much pleasure as did the actual painting. Visiting hours on Thursday, April 20th from 10 till 12 noon in the Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., North Plymouth with a service at 12 noon.
