CAMIRE, ALFRED O. 95, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the husband of the late Alice F. (McMahon) Camire. Born in Seekonk, MA, he was the son of the late Omer and Victoria (Waters) Camire. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life, previously residing in Pawtucket. Mr. Camire was United States Navy, World War II Veteran serving aboard the USS Ancon. Among several interests he loved woodworking, bowling, and spending time with his family. He leaves his children, Donald Camire of Florida, Dorothy Brierley-Nerone of Cumberland; his sister, Pauline Brown of Florida; his five granddaughters, Darlene Jutras, Jennifer Brierley, Brandy Flemming, Dale Jenkins and Kate Costa; his five great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ronald Camire; brother of the late Arthur Camire. Gerald Camire. Rhea Boisvert, Louis Camire, Henry Camire, and Doris Lussier. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 with Visiting Hours from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends arc kindly invited.
