Funeral service for Mrs. Adahlea Aderholt Houck will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in Anniston with the Rev. Jerome Myers and John Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Seven Springs Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 1:00 till service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Houck went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 17, 2016, with her baby daughter at her bed side. Mrs. Houck is survived by her sons, Mike Wilkins, Byron Houck (Deanne); daughters, Deborah Morris (Gordon), and Sharon Houck; grandchildren, Quentin Houck, Jasen Wilkins, Blake Edmondson, Michele Benefield, Stacy Barker and Kevin Bryant; great-grandchildren, Olivia Wilkins, Hannah Benefield, Henry Benefield, and Bryson Edmondson; sister, Jewell Magouyrk and a niece and many nephews. Mrs. Houck was preceeded in death by her husband, Fred H. Houck; parents, Calvin Dean Aderholdt and Bertha Nelson Aderholt; brothers, C.D. Aderholt and Nelson Aderholt; sisters, Ruth Wilkerson, Virginia Fleming, Hazel Bain, Leila Mae Wilson, and Mary Nell Smith. Pallbearers will be Quentin Houck, Jasen Wilkins, Blake Edmondson, Carl Bain, Waylon Magouyrk and Billy Fleming. Mrs. Houck was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith and attended Christian Brotherhood Church. A special thanks to Gentivia Hospice for excellent care and precious staff. Special thanks and blessings to awesome caregivers that stood by daughter Debbie through the entire journey; Shelia Rodgers, Casey Rodgers, Tammie Henderson, Dorothy Delacruz, and Lisa Clark.
