IN LOVING MEMORY OF Monell Elizabeth Ormbrek, 88, died in her home with her family at Lake Stevens, WA. Born on May 25, 1930 Boaz, AL. Daughter of the late Clyde & Malinda Thornhill. Married May 2, 1964 to the late Dr. Gus Ormbrek who were once residents of Roselle IL, Oakbrook IL, and Port Angeles, WA. Survived by her children Rock (Gregory) Griffin, Steven Ormbrek, Stanley Ormbrek and Jill Ormbrek. Also, survived by her grandchildren Alice Griffin; Gustin Jackson; Emily Ormbrek; Andrew Ormbrek; April Ormbrek and Tahnee Ormbrek. In addition to her survived great granddaughter Marlie Griffin. Monell was a wonderful mother who inspired her children to be the best they could be. She was blessed with a full life; her hobbies included a Cub Scout den mother; gardening, ceramics; making jewelry; bowling and owner/operator of the Beach House Bed & Breakfast on Place Road, Port Angeles, WA. Her green one eyes, charming southern personality, and kind smile will be dearly missed by all. The celebration of life will be held at the club house 9210 Market Place, Lake Stevens on TBD The funeral service will be held at the Ocean View Cemetery at 3127 W 18th St, Port Angeles, WA on September 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
