BURTON, Michael (Mike) Douglas Mike passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 5th, at Emmanuel House, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Nancy for 41 years. Survived by his mother Anne, his children, Michelle-Anne (Ryan), Matthew (Alexis), his sister, Lynda (Michael). He was predeceased by his father, Peter. Uncle Mike will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Mike was a highly respected member of the golf community for three decades. He will be most remembered for his quiet leadership at Heron Point, Clublink. A celebration of his life will be held at HERON POINT GOLF LINKS , 2787 Dunmark Rd., Alberton, Ontario on Sunday, June 9th at 1:00 p.m. Visitations will be held on Friday, June 7th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 8th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers and in admiration of his daughter, donations to the MS Clinic at the Hamilton General Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
