May C. Archer July 4, 2019 May C. Archer, 97, died Thursday, July 4th, at the Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Minoa, NY. She was a life resident of Syracuse. May worked as a parish secretary at All Saints Episcopal Church for 20 years. She retired from Onondaga Pastoral Counseling Center in 1981, after which she volunteered at Community General Hospital from 1981 to 1998. She was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Nedrow. May was predeceased in November 2000, by her husband of 57 years, Bernard J. Archer. She is survived by two daughters: Carol Hamlin of Endicott, NY and Mary Lou Johnson (Charles) of East Syracuse, NY; three grandchildren: Renee Bear of Pompey NY, Kelley Hamlin of Brackney PA, Shannon Johnson of Syracuse and six great grand children. May was a member of Daughters of the Nile. Friends and family may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday, prior to funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home; 1320 West Genesee Street, in Syracuse. Entombment: Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
