Mary Regina (Small) Carlson
Mary Regina (nee Small) Carlson Mamaroneck - Mary Regina (nee Small) Carlson, 92, formerly of Mamaroneck, NY and Lansdowne, PA, died June 30, 2019 in Washington DC. Raised in Lansdowne, she was a graduate of St. Leonard's Academy, The University of PA, and received her graduate degree in Urban Planning from Yale University. Mary spent most of her professional career in the Westchester County area of NY. She served as an urban planner in Mamaroneck NY; and was chair of the Town Master Plan Review. She also served on the Town's Affordable Housing Commission. Mary was a member of the League of Women Voters and involved in all phases of political activism. She enjoyed reading and travel. She was a resident of Washington, D.C. for the past 7 years. Mary is survived by her son, David J. Carlson. Service: Her Memorial Service will be 1pm Saturday at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, PA, where friends may call after 12:30 pm.
