HOPPER, Mary Evelyn Mary Evelyn Hopper, age 79 passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ August 31,2019. Mary Evelyn was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Mary attended Adamson High School and Baylor University. She loved music, playing the piano, directing choirs and singing. Mary loved and treasured her family and her pets, and grandpets. Mary was a cancer survivor. She volunteered for sixteen years at Cvetco Center Breast Surgery Program, she received several Awards for her volunteer work at Baylor Hospital. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Annie Dance; sister, Joanne Dance. She is survived by her loving husband Benny Hopper; Daughters, Kellie Tarry and husband Jonathan, and Stacey Hardy and husband Shawn; step-granddaughter, Hannah Evans and husband Nick. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 5-7pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with a memorial service at First Baptist Church of Dallas to be announced at a later date.
