In Loving Memory of Mary Elizabeth Taylor
Mary Elizabeth Taylor 1924 ~ 2018 Our sweet, loving Mom closed her beautiful brown eyes and passed from this life on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the age of 94. We mourn our loss, but rejoice in her progression and joining her beloved husband, Roy, and family members in our Heavenly home. She was born January 17, 1924 to Ezekiel Gibbs Stallings and Ina May Poole in Menan, Idaho. She was raised on a farm with sister, Lela, and brothers Merlin and Adrian. She enjoyed a lifetime of relationship with them. While living in Pocatello, Idaho she met a "nice young man" named Roy Taylor from Utah and was married October 22, 1943 and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Family was life to her. She wanted ten children and had two. A quiet, unassuming person, she accepted what came in life. Thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and proud of her pioneer heritage. Mary enjoyed family time, reading, sewing, needlepointing, fishing, tennis and traveling. Her motto was "Be Kind". She is survived by daughters, Nancy (Leonard) Coskie, Yorba Linda, CA and Margaret (Robert) Bryson, Holladay, UT; her grandchildren, Joni (Blair) Vincent, Laguna Niguel, CA, Steven (Heather) Coskie, West Sacramento, CA, Devin (Emily) Bryson, Jacksonville, IL, Nathan Bryson, Nicholas (Jamie) Bryson, Orangevale, CA, and Dana (Will) Johnson, Salt Lake City, UT; great-grandchildren, Garret, Madalyn and Lauren Vincent; Quentin, Greta, Edith Bryson-Adams; Blake and Margot Bryson. A viewing will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, UT. Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery (North Side), 5300 South Vine Street. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com . Our heartfelt thanks to The Abbington at Holladay, especially the memory unit staff who served her with tender loving care for the last eight months.
