Sun City, AZ - Marvin Wayne Hardin was born September 11, 1933 and passed away June 21, 2018 at age 84 years and 10 months. He was born in Mattoon, IL to Vernon and Elsie Hardin. 'Marv' worked as a metal finisher for AiResearch/Honeywell for 28 years. Before moving to Arizona in 1965 he worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company in Mt. Zion, IL. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Faith Bible Church in Glendale, AZ, a former member of Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix, The Gideon's, several art clubs in Sun City, and the National Muzzle Loading Association. He loved camping, hunting - especially with his muzzle loader! And time spent with his family. He is survived by Irma, his wife of 64 years; sons, Mark (Renee) and Doug (Darla); daughters, Lorraine Fulks (William) and Marva Myers-Ray; seven grandchildren: Travis Hardin (Joanna), Tami Shaw (Joe), Brad Hardin (Drea), Sgt. Kyle Hardin (Andrea), Chase Hardin, Dallas Myers (Megan) and Kelly Ray (Anthony); 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dr. Marci Howard; plus 4 very special nieces and nephews. A celebration of life was held at Faith Bible Church in Glendale with burial at the VA National Memorial Cemetery Of Arizona.
