Marny A. Borodine Franklin - Marny A. Borodine, 61 of Franklin, TN formerly of Concord, MA died at home on December 17, 2018. Marny was born March 17, 1957 in Danvers, MA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Borodine. She attended Concord schools moving to Tennessee shortly afterwards. Marny established and ran a thriving arborist company and for many years specialized in ornamental arboriculture. Her advice was widely respected and sought after among her many prominent clients in the Nashville area. Marny was a free spirit who had an intense love for the natural world and made an impression on everyone she met. She loved and was loved by a tight knit community of neighbors and friends in her home town and loved to cook and entertain for them at her charming cabin by the creek. Marny leaves her husband Bill Prowton also formerly of Concord, MA, whom she spent the happiest day's of her life with. She also leaves behind her son Emmett (Melissa) of Seattle, WA, her siblings Mike, Anne, Suzanne Klein (Jeff) and Lisa Ward (Tom) as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and friends. In addition to her parents Marny was predeceased by her brother Peter. There will be a private memorial ceremony at her home in the spring.
