Marilyn Jean Gillham May 20, 1923 - Sept. 13, 2019 With heavy hearts, the family of Marilyn Jean Gillham, 92, notifies you of her peaceful passing Sept. 13, 2019; her loving family at her side. Born May 20, 1927 in Central City, Neb., Marilyn was the youngest of Clifford and Dorothy (Brown) Foster's three children. After graduating from Central City High School in 1945, she married Donald Claude Gillham and went on to have three children, raising their family in Nebraska and Oregon. Marilyn was known for her infectious laugh, fierce independence, charming personality and love for her family. After the passing of her husband in 1978, she lived in Redmond, Ore., until moving to Beaverton in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and son, Claude Gillham. She is survived by her eldest son, Bill Gillham (Marian); daughter, Joy Auenson; grandchildren, Jon Auenson (Becky), Kristi Carver, Lori Goranson (Anders), Donald Gillham; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Oct. 12, 2019, at Redmond Memorial Cemetery with a lunch reception following at the Bend home of Marilyn's niece, Robbi Shannon.
