Marguerite J. Casper
Marguerite J. Casper, age 93, of Littleton, CO passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was born on August 12, 1924, in Berlin, PA, the daughter of Elizabeth S. (Landis) and James T. Brady. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arno G. Casper, in 2003. Marguerite, RN., MS. ANP. taught student nurses at St. Anthony's and Union College at Porter. She worked in CCU, ICU at Porter and then at Colorado General's Emergency Room. Just before retirement she performed pilot's physicals for United Airlines. She loved her time as instructor the best. During her nursing career, Marguerite also obtained her real estate license. Marguerite enjoyed oil painting, gardening, reading and her dogs. She loved her daughters and granddaughters and was a beacon of hope and light to them. She was brilliant, artistic, graceful, humorous and feisty. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Casper and Donna Casper and grandchildren Shaya and Aleah Malarik. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 pm, Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Douglas County Libraries in Highlands Ranch, CO. Cremation is planned and the family will scatter Marguerite's cremated remains in the mountains. In lieu of flowers please donate to something that you support or plant something in the garden, feed the birds, enjoy a book, have a boozy eggnog and tell someone that you love them.
