HOLLAND -- Luella May (Wiggins) Marrison, 93, of Holland, formally of Paris, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at Vista Springs Hospice Home in Holland. She was born April 10, 1935, near Reed City, the daughter of Earl and Ida (Eichenberg) Todd, and lived near Paris most of her life. As a young woman, she married Virgil Wiggins, of Paris, and the couple enjoyed many happy years, until his death in 1976. Luella and Virgil loved music, and for many years they played in a dance band for many local events and receptions. Following Virgil's death, she was married to Don Marrison for nearly 40 years. Luella loved gardening and spending time on her farm. Surviving are her daughter, Sandy, and her husband, Terry Van Eyck, of West Olive; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Luella also was preceded in death by her brothers, Delbert and John Todd; and her sister, Winifred Hope. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Devon Herrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Park Hill Cemetery in Green Township. Luella's family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
