Loretta Whatley Loretta Jean Whatley, 58, of Rudy passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her home. She was a cook at Darby Junior High School in Fort Smith and a member of Shibley Baptist Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Wayne and Patsy (Crenshaw) Allen. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Randy Whatley of the home; one daughter, Alisha Chick of Greenwood; one son, Michael Plaster of Lavaca; four sisters, Barbara Ann Williams of Mountainburg, Mary Francis Anderson of Van Buren, Debra Kay Gattis of Fort Smith and Cindy Gail May of Alma; one brother, Clifford Lee Allen of Van Buren; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will visit with relatives and friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren. Pallbearers will be William Walker, Wade Walker, Adrian Whatley, Andrew Whatley, Michael Plaster and Jacob Chick.
