GREENSBORO - Ms. Lois Hightower Graves, 95, of 1820 Britton Street, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at Summerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center while surrounded by her family. Ms. Graves' homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 12:00 pm at Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor David Reaves officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church, and all other times, at the home of her son, Rufus Graves Jr., 5204 Harvest Oak Drive, Greensboro. Ms. Graves' public viewing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, from 1-8:00 pm at Hargett Funeral Home, 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro. Alamance Funeral Service of Burlington has the honor of serving the Graves Family. Online condolences may be made at alamancefuneralservice.org . Due to the new mandate of Executive Order 117 by Governor Roy Cooper, public gatherings are limited to no more than 100 individuals at one time until further notice. Alamance Funeral Service apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
