Garth, Lillian Olga Age 80, passed August 7, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. A Gary resident since 1972. A member of Embassies of Christ and Bible Study Classes. She worked as a programmer for the Milwaukee Railroad, an Education Coordinator for Consumer Credit Counseling and volunteered and later becoming president for the Merrillville Chapter of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI). Lillian earned her BA degree in Psychology from Calumet College. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Stoll; husband, Monroe Garth; and son, Rudolph Crawford Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Yvonne (Rudolph) Crawford-Johnson; two sons, Eric (Bonnie) Crawford and David Crawford; brother, Carl (Carol) Stoll; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 9:00-11:00a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. All services at Embassies of Christ. Pastor Ronald Moore officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
