Leila Rose Charboneau
Leila Rose Charboneau, 80, of Lapeer, died Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born April 7, 1938 in Gaylord to parents Millard and Florence (Hittle) Hart. Leila graduated from Cheboygan High School, where she was raised. She married Joseph M. Charboneau on Aug. 17, 1957 in Cheboygan.  Mrs. Charboneau was a veracious reader and enjoyed going to the casino. Possibly her main focus in life; was to foster good fun, bonding and love with her family; like playing cards, games of any kind, dancing (highlights of disco and square dancing). Leila loved her family.  She is survived by her husband: Joe, children: Mark (Kathleen) Charboneau; Steven Charboneau; Kelly (Allan) Davis; Lyn (Jeff) Hurley; Marlene Klutchko and Kim Ptschonek, 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings: Vera Hart; Ray (Jenny) Hart; Larry (Helen) Hart; Lonnie Hart and Freddie (Cathy) Hart. Mrs. Charboneau was preceded in death by siblings: Buck Hart; Ginny Waldie; Floy Neumann; Francis Vieu; Jack Hart; Dave Hart as well as her parents.  Mrs. Charboneau's visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Muir's. Leila's funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 West Nepessing Street, Lapeer, Michigan 48446.  The family will also receive friends from 10:15-11 a.m. at the church, prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will take place in Stiles Cemetery.
